Two years ago, for some reason, I began breaking out in large, red patches all over my legs, arms, stomach, back, and face. My doctor took a biopsy and later diagnosed eczema. This eczema proved to be very treatment resistant. I went through all kinds of topical creams and a few oral medications of the steroidal type...nothing was working!! I ended up having to take a fairly dangerous medication called methotrexate, which carried such liver toxicity dangers that I had to return to my Dermatologist’s office every 6 to 8 weeks for blood work.
